Christmas

We had a reaaly great Christmas this year. Breck was really into it and couldn't get the gifts unwrapped quick enough. Now McKenna was taking her on sweet time and it was driving Breck nuts that he had to help her.

He was so excited about this Mickey Mouse car race that he asked Santa for.

McKenna loved her new dolly and stroller. She pushed that stroller all around that kitchen all day. We enjoyed being with both our families over the Christmas holiday. We want to tell them thanks for all the great gifts you gave us and coming and visiting us.

Cookie Trains

My mom and I made these cookie trains for some of my neighobors for Christmas. And of course one for Breck and McKenna. They're really easy to make and I had fun making them with my mom.

Visit with Santa Claus

We took the kids to go see Santa and some reindeer at Quilted Bear last weekend. Breck went right up to him and sat on his lap. McKenna on the other hand was holding on to her daddy as tight as she could. Travis tried sitting next to him with McKenna and she started crying. I wish that we would've put her on his lap still. It would've probably made a great picture. Oh well.

But she did love seeing the reindeer. She loves animals.

Thanksgiving

I tried to get a picture of the kids together since they were dressed nice for Thanksgiving. But that was a joke. So I settled for taking seperate ones. McKenna loves her picture taken.

Breck does too, but he acts goofy when I take them. I get either a silly smile or no smile at all. We had a very nice Thanksgiving. We went to both of our family's dinners and had a good time at both. We are thankful for having such great family's.

Family Photos

We decided to get some family picutres done with Teton. Trav's dad took these above. I think they turned out good. After we got them done his dad told us that they weren't focused. We hadn't seen them yet. We decided to get them taken again before the weather got bad just in case. I think we got some great pictures from each time. Thanks Joe for taking some great pictures.

We've learned that it is hard to get a good picture of everyone. Especially when you are dealing with two active kids and a dog.

Winter or Fall?

Last week it snowed on Wednesday and the kids loved it. Travis is so happy that they like the snow, cause I'm not a big snow or cold person.

It was McKenna's first time playing in the snow and she loved it.

Of course Breck loves it, he goes out first thing in the morning to play in it.

Then on Saturday the snow was all gone and it was fall like weather. What a week winter and fall all in one week. The kids loved it.

Breck was upset that we're going to put the bags of leaves out on the road to be picked up. He wants us to save them and dump them out when he wants a leave pile. He loves the outdoors that is for sure.

Halloween!

My handsome fireman. He thought he was so cool in his costume. He had alot of fun this year. You can tell he is growing up and understanding what Halloween is all about. CANDY!

Our pretty butterfly princess. Her costume had a headband that went with it and she didn't want to wear it. The next pictures you see how she really liked her costume when we first put it on.

We are still trying to get a good picture. We didn't succeed this time.

So this is the first attempt putting on McKenna's costume. She didn't like it to much.

Here we have the finished pumpkins.

It took awhile for Breck to get into it, but he had fun after all.

As you can see in this picture McKenna wasn't really into carving pumpkins.

McKenna was so attached to these shrunken heads that we had for decorations. She treated them like her babies. She also had to drag them along when we went trick or treating in her princess outfit.

Look at my hair!

What you think about McKenna's hair? I thought it was sooo cute. Travis did it one morning and I can't get it to look the same when I do it.

Trains and more Trains...

I was very impressed with this train track. Breck built it all by himself. He started with a pile of tracks and he came up with this with no help from mom and dad. He gets frustrated with me when I try to help. I do it all wrong.

He was very proud of his creation. He can't get enough of trains.

Summer Time Fun

A little while ago me and the kids went with my friend Teresa and her girls to Liberty park to the water parks there. The kids had alot of fun. We have had alot of fun outings with Teresa and it has made it a very fun summer for us.

McKenna's morning and night.

Here she is in the morning all happy and loves being a big girl eating her cereal. That is her chair at the table and if you sit in it she will let you know.

Here she is passed out at bedtime. She fell asleep on her daddys lap and when he was getting her ready for bed she did not even wake up.

She is my early riser (like her daddy) and early to bed. Opposite of me and Breck we like to sleep in and stay up late.

Dinosaur Park

On the 24th of July we took the kids to the dinosaur park up in Ogden canyon. It was alot of fun and very hot. Here the kids enjoyed brushing the dirt away to find the fossils.

The had some cool looking dinosaurs outside.

McKenna loved pointing to the dinosaurs and going "ohhh".

There were a couple of dinosaurs that were inside (this is one of them) that moved and looked real. They had Breck and McKenna kinda taken back at first cause they also made noises. They were pretty cool.

The musuem had alot of dinosaur skeletons, alot that I haven't heard of the names before so it was pretty interesting.

Silver Lake

A couple of weeks ago we went with our friends Teresa and Sam and their two girls to Silver Lake. We had alot of fun, even though there were alot of mosquitos out.

We got up there, and were getting the table set up to eat some dinner and McKenna vomited everywhere. We think she got car sick on the way up there, because she was fine afterwards. Breck and his goofy smile. He thinks he is so funny.

I love this picture of him. Teresa is always prepared and brought her camera, which was a good thing cause I forgot mine and she got some great pictures. And we also forgot to take our fishing poles, but Sam shared his with Breck. Morgan was the only one to catch a fish. :)

July 4th!!

We had a great day on the 4th. We went to our friends Sharon's & Larry's house in Riverdale to watch the parade. It was cool it went right inf front of their house and the kids enjoyed it. Sharon also made a great breakfast for us to enjoy. It was great. Thanks Sharon & Larry.

McKenna was all about the yummy breakfast.

Breck was all about the noise makers. All in all it was alot of fun.

McKenna was pretty tuckered out afterwards. She feel right to sleep on the way home. She looks so precious.

Then that evening we went of neighbors house and watched fireworks. Here are Breck and McKenna with all their friends. That was a fun night. We want to thank our friend Teresa for inviting us.
